Job Summary

Maintain accurate donor records within the CRM and spreadsheet-based systems, ensuring data integrity through routine audits and quality control. Generate reports and real-time dashboards that support stewardship, fundraising, and strategic decision-making. Serve as project manager for recurring donor engagement deliverables, including quarterly investor reports, webinars, and the CEO snapshot series, tracking timelines and ensuring material accuracy. Support the Senior Major Gifts Officer with research and preparation for donor meetings, providing briefing materials and pool reports. Prepare clear, polished communications for executive-level audiences and anticipate needs to propose solutions without waiting for explicit direction. Begin work in Fall 2026 in a remote, national role following Eastern time core hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in fundraising, donor relations, communications, nonprofit administration, database management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to mission-driven work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort preparing executive and senior leadership level communications
  • Experience maintaining constituent, donor, customer, or organizational databases with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt across different systems and technology platforms
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • A self-starter mindset: comfortable working independently, anticipating needs, and proactively defining how a task should be approached rather than waiting for explicit direction
  • Remote, national position
  • Core hours generally follow the Eastern time zone from 9am to 5pm
  • Travel is expected once or twice a year for the full team event or a Development team retreat, typically in Washington, D.C.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Airtable, Excel, or similar spreadsheet-based data management tools
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, workflows, and automations within database platforms
  • Familiarity with data governance, reporting best practices, and donor segmentation strategies
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar technologies to support communications, research, reporting, and operational efficiency
  • A creative eye and interest in helping design engaging donor-facing materials, such as webinars and stewardship events
