National Consultant to provide capacity building on crisis management and safe leadership in public administration, politics, and management positions in the private sector (multiple positions)

Job Summary

Develop learning modules and methodology on crisis leadership and safe leadership in politics, covering framing, message formulation, public presence, and responding to sexist narratives. Deliver at least six training sessions for women in leadership roles within public administration, politics, and private sector management, utilizing pre- and post-training questionnaires to assess knowledge. Provide individual mentoring and advisory sessions for beneficiaries on demand, while coordinating with UN Women teams and Project Analysts. Develop a final report summarizing lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations for future capacity-building opportunities. Execute these tasks within a 12-month period, reporting to thematic pillar leads.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, Gender Studies, Law, International Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in capacity building, training, or program management
  • Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, leadership development, and gender-responsive policy-making
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training modules for adult learners in public administration or the private sector
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to lead large and small group sessions
  • Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive learning methodology and curriculum
  • Experience in creating and managing training materials, including facilitation guides and assessment tools
  • Proficiency in analytical thinking and quality assurance to ensure training effectiveness
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with UN Women teams and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to work remotely (home-based consultancy)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the private sector, banking, or business/commercial-oriented NGOs
  • Knowledge of EU integration processes and standards
  • Familiarity with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and SDG 5
  • Experience in developing mentoring and coaching programs
  • Track record in addressing violence against women in politics and online safety
  • Experience in crisis communication drills and high-pressure contexts
  • Knowledge of national legislation and international standards related to gender equality and women's empowerment
