National Consultant: Review and Harmonization of Male Engagement Toolkits, Malawi

Job Summary
Consultant to review, harmonize male engagement toolkits across UNFPA Malawi programmes; lead reviews, stakeholder consultations, mapping, validation; develop harmonized toolkit aligned with Malawi’s National Male Engagement Strategy (2023–2030) and National HIV Prevention Strategy; strengthen integration of HIV prevention literacy, SRHR/GBV content, PrEP, Lenacapavir, VMMC, condom promotion, and youth engagement; produce a final harmonized toolkit/framework and consultancy report; based in Lilongwe with supervision from UNFPA Malawi.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced university degree in Public Health, Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sociology, SRHR/HIV-related disciplines, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing, developing, or harmonizing training curricula and community engagement toolkits.
- Strong expertise in gender-transformative programming and male engagement approaches.
- Experience in HIV prevention programming including condom promotion, PrEP, VMMC, and community-based HIV prevention.
- Experience facilitating multi-stakeholder consultations and validation workshops.
- Strong analytical, report writing, facilitation, and synthesis skills.
- Familiarity with Malawi’s policy and programme environment.
- Experience working with government, UN agencies, and development partners.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Chichewa is an added advantage.
