National Consultancy: Youth Consultant - Libya

Job Summary
National Consultancy role focusing on strengthening youth-responsive programming across health, protection, and community engagement in UNFPA Libya. Responsibilities include programme design, integration of youth-responsive approaches, meaningful youth engagement with youth-led civil society and local authorities, coordination of the Youth Working Group, field monitoring, data analysis (age- and sex-disaggregated), and preparation of briefing materials, donor inputs, and policy-relevant outputs. The consultant will operate up to 20 days per month over six months (Jul–Dec 2026) with a hybrid work arrangement in Libya (travel to field locations as required) and will report to the International Programme Coordinator. Qualifications emphasize experience in youth programming, coordination, reporting, and strong written English; Arabic stakeholder materials are highly desirable; proficiency in working with UN agencies, NGOs, and government entities is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary Education (High School or Equivalent) with Six Years of Experience or First Level or Advanced in social sciences, development studies, public health, youth development, gender studies, protection, population studies, political science, international relations, public policy or a related field is desirable.
