Job Summary
Conduct on-site inspections and review contractor submittals for mechanical, electrical, and project engineers to ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards. Monitor contractor methods and performance, documenting findings and advising Government personnel when deviations occur. Analyze project schedules using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 to identify out-of-sequence work impacting the critical path. Generate daily written reports in the USACE Resident Management System detailing observations on materials, equipment, and site conditions against EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards. Requires ability to relocate to federal construction sites across the U.S. for ongoing on-site services.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to relocate to federal construction sites located in the U.S for on going on-site construction management services
- 10+ years in building construction/renovation/modernization
- Hands-on knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA requirements
- Comfortable generating daily reports and using USACE Resident Management System (RMS)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in construction quality assurance, with experience on federal projects preferred
- Prior USACE experience is preferred - Experience utilizing / participating in three-Phase Inspection Process
- EM 385-1-1 Safety & Health Requirements Manual
