Job Summary
National Channel Development Specialist serves as the key business partner supporting national 2-step distributors, builders, dealers, and strategic channel programs. Responsible for analyzing channel performance, developing actionable insights, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring effective execution of sales and customer programs. Acts as a central coordination point between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Operations, and external partners to drive profitable growth and operational excellence. Key duties include managing channel performance analytics, reporting and scorecards (sell-in/sell-thru/inventory/pricing/market data), supporting strategic account planning and growth initiatives, assisting with pricing programs, rebates, forecasting, and customer incentive programs, preparing leadership-facing materials (QBRs, line reviews), supporting contract administration, and coordinating cross-functional communication and process improvements. Requires strong analytical, financial, and communication skills, data visualization, and travel (approx. 25–30%). Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field; 2–5 years in related roles; experience with 2-step distribution and national accounts; proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, CRM, and AI tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in sales support, channel operations, business analytics, sales operations, customer development, or related commercial functions
- Experience with 2-step distribution, dealer networks, national accounts, or builder programs strongly preferred
- Experience with sell-in, sell-thru, inventory, and channel performance analytics preferred
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, CRM platforms, and AI-enabled business tools preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate insights and recommendations to multiple stakeholder groups
- Travel: Approximately 25%–30% travel required
