Job Summary
National Accounts Manager for Vending & Vistar leads the strategic partnership with Vistar and key On-Premise accounts to drive top-line revenue, margin growth, and distribution. Responsibilities include getting products authorized and listed in Vistar’s system, direct selling to On-Premise customers, developing annual business plans and category growth strategies, leveraging data from syndicated sources and internal reports to justify opportunities, coordinating national promotions and launches, managing third-party brokers, and collaborating with marketing, supply chain, and operations to align customer needs with Bel’s go-to-market strategy. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and at least 7 years in national accounts or distribution sales, with proven negotiation and joint business planning experience; strong data analysis, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; willingness to travel up to 40%. This role is primarily remote with travel responsibilities and is based in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in national account management or distribution sales, with direct experience selling into On-Premise accounts or micro-market industries
- Proven negotiation and joint business planning experience with distributors and key accounts
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with syndicated data tools such as Nielsen, IRI, or comparable platforms
- Ability to manage brokers and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Data analysis capability and ability to translate insights into actionable sales strategies
- Experience in direct selling and relationship building with On-Premise customers and distributors (Vistar & Vending Accounts)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
