The National Accounts Director will drive high-impact sales growth by owning the full sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing, to exceed annual revenue targets of $5–20 million. Responsibilities include building strategic sales plans, developing long-term partnerships with key customers, leading negotiations, and implementing scalable CRM processes. The role requires a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in transportation/logistics, with a focus on new business development and strong communication skills. Candidates should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have demonstrated success in a structured sales process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in the transportation/logistics industry
- Strong communication skills with a track record of winning deals
- Disciplined, self‐motivated, and able to work independently in a fast‐paced environment
- Detail‐oriented with excellent pipeline management and CRM discipline
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and customer needs
- Demonstrated success following a structured sales process
Desired Qualifications
- Proven success in logistics or supply chain sales, ideally with national accounts
- Familiarity with LTL, FTL, Air, Ocean, and Brokerage services
