National Account Manager – Walmart (Hand Tools | Private Brand)

Job Summary
Lead Walmart account management for the Hand Tools private brand, developing annual sales strategies and negotiating pricing, terms, and assortment expansions with merchants and replenishment teams. Drive revenue growth and market share by analyzing Retail Link and Scintilla data to identify digital sales opportunities and mitigate business risks. Partner with global sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing teams in Asia to manage product development timelines, ensure compliance, and coordinate factory visits for successful launches. Coach a cross-functional support team to establish goals and foster collaboration across time zones. Deliver on assigned targets while maintaining strong relationships with Walmart stakeholders and internal leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- 5+ years of progressive sales or account management experience supporting Walmart or another major national retailer
- Prior experience with Private Brand models
- Experience within Hand Tools, Hardware, Home Improvement, Durable Goods, Consumer Products, or related categories
- Demonstrated success managing and growing large retail customer relationships
- Previous people leadership experience with direct reports
- Strong analytical, financial, and business planning skills
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience utilizing technology to achieve business goals including Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, various AI tools and other relevant platforms
- Hands-on experience with Retail Link, Scintilla and other related Walmart data tools
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across diverse functions and organizational levels
- Prior working relationships with Asia based manufacturing & product teams
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require
