RemoteUnited States or Chicago, Illinois, United States
Job Summary
Build and own the day-to-day relationship with Sephora US as the primary contact for commercial, category, marketing, and operational discussions. Lead the end-to-end execution of the Sephora US launch, including assortment planning, launch calendars, promotional plans, and in-store activation. Drive strong sell-out performance by diagnosing at the door level and building fast action plans. Own the operational rhythm through sell-in/sell-through analysis, forecasting, inventory planning, and business reviews. Define the US retail operating model, playbook, and reporting processes from scratch. Partner with Berlin-based teams across marketing, supply chain, finance, and product to ensure smooth launches. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and category developments to identify growth opportunities in the US market. Represent Yepoda as the first commercial presence on the ground in the US.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years experience in national account management, key account management, trade marketing, or retail partnerships within beauty, skincare, or consumer brands
- Direct experience working with Sephora US, ideally including a brand launch or new brand entry within the last 3 years
- Experience from a scaling, challenger, or emerging brand where you have built processes, playbooks, or ways of working from scratch rather than inherited them
- Genuinely hands on. Comfortable being deep in the detail across sell out data, door level execution, promotional planning, and forecasting, not sitting above it
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset with a clear point of view on how to grow a Sephora account through both sell in and sell out levers
- Experience working cross functionally with marketing, category, supply chain, and finance teams
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to challenge Sephora stakeholders and push initiatives forward
- Comfortable operating solo on the ground and building trust remotely with a HQ team across time zones
- Must be based in the United States and authorised to work in the country without current or future visa sponsorship
