Job Summary
National Account Manager to drive profitable sales growth across consumer retail in the UK&I for Wella Company’s Professional Beauty brands, with responsibility for premium retail accounts including John Lewis, Sephora and QVC and a focus on growing OPI. Own annual operating plans for customers (forecasting, P&L, pricing, and promotional strategy), develop and manage annual JBPs with cross-functional partners, lead trade term/contract negotiations, and develop category and brand revenue growth strategies from data and market information. Build strong relationships with trade marketing and brand teams to execute and grow retail media plans, ensure on-time product launches and promotions, maximise opportunities to drive incremental sales, collaborate with demand and supply chain for accurate forecasting and stock management, drive excellence in digital shelf execution, and act as a source of retail expertise to share best practices and drive omnichannel growth. Lead premium retail agenda through collaboration and influence with multiple stakeholders (sales, trade, brand).
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing QVC as a strategic retail partner
- Experience managing other major retail partners in the beauty / cosmetics industry
- Solid understanding of omnichannel marketing
- Experience managing P&Ls, budgets and invoices
- Experience negotiating trade terms / contracts
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
- High level of attention to detail and excellent time management
- Ambitious and driven; hungry for success and responsibility
- Keen problem solver, adept at finding effective, scalable solutions
