Job Summary
National Account Manager to grow B2B revenue across the country by managing a book of business, developing relationships within assigned accounts, prospecting and closing new opportunities, driving value-added customer solutions, and coordinating with field and distributor sales to satisfy customer needs. Responsibilities include understanding customers’ operations, communicating account priorities to internal teams, ensuring solution delivery, managing profitability, developing key relationships, attending business and social events to support relationships, and mentoring less experienced field and corporate accounts associates. Requires travel and strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven sales industry experience
- experience calling on commercial bakeries and/or grocery retailers
- corporate or national accounts experience
- demonstrated ability to build collaborative teams across regions, functions, and businesses
- financial and analytical skills including understanding of a P&L and the financial implications of customers’ situations
