Job Summary
Develop and close new business opportunities as National Account Manager. Proactively pursue opportunities with current customers and drive new account acquisition while dedicating a major portion of effort (approximately 80%) to growing Access Systems, Shelving and Fixtures, Material Handling, and Service. Build strong relationships with prospective customers, manage the full sales cycle, present pricing and terms to key decision makers, and collaborate with operations and product management to meet customer needs. Lead and mentor Inside-Sales and Customer Service resources in collaboration with leadership. Maintain CRM with opportunities and progress, resolve issues to remove obstacles, and contribute to annual sales strategy and budgeting. Travel up to 50% to support customers and opportunities in the market.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years outside sales experience
- 5+ years Retail/Grocery/Convenience Store industry knowledge
