Job Summary
National Account Manager responsible for managing a grocery portfolio, delivering revenue targets across grocery accounts, building and scaling the National Account function with repeatable processes, developing broker partnerships to drive account-level execution, and protecting and growing base volume while pursuing incremental growth. Key activities include developing promotional plans, expanding assortment, increasing in-store presence, managing pricing and promotions, coordinating with brokers, and maintaining regular account updates for leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in CPG or grocery account management
- Revenue ownership — ability to hit sales targets
- Broker & partner coordination — ability to orchestrate execution across broker networks
- Analytical problem-solving — experience using POS and trade data to inform decisions
- Communication & influence — ability to present plans to buyers, brokers, and leadership
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Proven track record of building retailer relationships and developing joint business plans
