Job Summary
National Account Manager at CARFAX responsible for representing the CARFAX brand to top automotive dealer groups and serving as the executive-level point of contact. Build and nurture corporate-level relationships, cultivate new business opportunities, coordinate cross-team client interactions, review customer performance data, manage onboarding (implementation, deliverables, and training), and respond rapidly to customer needs. Requires frequent regional travel with some overnight stays, and emphasizes data-driven account management, strategic planning, and delivering exceptional customer service across assigned accounts.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of automotive account management experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships at the corporate level within top dealer groups
- Strong collaboration and internal relationship-building skills
- Road Warrior mentality with frequent travel within the region and occasional overnights
- Knowledge of dealer management software systems (preferred)
- Strategic thinker and problem solver
- Ability to run an agenda-driven meeting virtually or in person
- Focus on customer experience and attention to detail in ongoing account management
