Job Summary
Lead regional human resources and data collection operations for NASDA's NASS program, overseeing up to 350 part-time enumerators and a leadership team across IA, IL, MN, and WI. Manage payroll processing, onboarding/training, staffing, and personnel actions; ensure staffing adequacy and compliance with anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies. Develop and implement strategies to improve data collection quality, efficiency, and accuracy; coordinate survey assignments and progress for NASS surveys; manage budgets and vendor activity. Serve as liaison with NASDA, USDA-NASS, and agricultural industry partners; coordinate training events and provide consistent operations across regions. Requires residency in IA, IL, MN, WI or a neighboring state and the ability to work fully remotely within those constraints. Strong collaboration with regional leadership and cross-functional teams is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant, full-time work experience
- 3+ years of human resources experience including payroll processing, employee support, recruiting and development
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- 3+ years managing agricultural operations or projects with demonstrated expertise in communication, planning, budgeting
