Job Summary
Assist the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor and Pharmacist In Charge with daily functions, including maintaining floor stock, restocking, and removing expired medications. Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications, package fill, and ship medications while rotating stock to assure quality controls. Process returned drugs and recycle or dispose of them per procedure. Adhere to pharmacy standards, safety policies, attendance, and dress code as a team player. Complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician required with high school diploma; previous pharmacy experience preferred. Shifts run 2:30pm to 11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to physically perform light lifting
- Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned
- Basic Math and computer skills
