Job Summary
Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's growth and development while creating a warm, safe, and fun environment for each child in your care. Build professional relationships with families to deliver high-quality childcare, communicating openly to ensure consistency and support. Respond to the emotional, social, and physical needs of each child, keeping safety and well-being top of mind. Provide transportation for outings, activities, and errands, ensuring children arrive safely and on time. Maintain availability for at least two full weekdays between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Join Safe at Home, a division of Kennedy Care, to serve employees of Ford Motor Company, the University of Michigan, and individual families seeking compassionate nannies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of childcare experience
- Outstanding communication skills
- An undeniable positive, can-do attitude
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proof of Auto Registration and Insurance
- Maintain availability for at least two full weekdays (Monday–Friday). A full day is defined as a minimum of eight hours of consecutive availability between 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
