Job Summary
Conduct afternoon and early evening household support for a Darien family, including dinner preparation, laundry management, and general tidying. Provide one-on-one care for a single child while the full-time nanny attends to the others, ensuring age-appropriate play and outdoor activities in a fenced backyard. Coordinate daily priorities with the afternoon nanny team and assist with mealtime and evening routines. This part-time, long-term role offers guaranteed 25 hours weekly with workers' compensation, health insurance stipend, and on-site parking.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience combining household support with childcare, or comparable background
- Confident caring for one young child at a time, including infants and toddlers
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong, proactive communication skills
- Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
