Job Summary
Care for three active children (ages 11 months, 2.5 years, and 4 years) at the family home, collaborating with a junior nanny and chef. Manage child-related household tasks including meal prep, tidying, organizing play areas, and occasional errands. Support learning through arts and crafts, reading, and outdoor play while maintaining a strict schedule that includes naps. Provide water safety supervision and introduce solids safely for infants and toddlers. Assist parents with boundary-setting, rule teaching, and developmental milestones for ages 1–6. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 2:30pm with a flexible start date through August.
Required Qualifications
- Warm, extroverted, capable
- Hands-on with kids
- Able to set boundaries, teach rules and manners for the kids
- Keep kids on a schedule, including naps
- Able to swim and care for children in water
- On time arrival (punctuality), organized
- Proactive partner in raising the children to flag issues or improvement suggestions
- Understanding of introducing solids and feeding babies and toddlers safely
- Comfortable being paid via payroll
- Comfortable working alongside other household employees
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate child developmental milestones for 1-6 years of age
- First Aid/CPR certified
Desired Qualifications
- (Preferred but optional) potential trips with the family 1 or 2 weeks of year to Florida or California
