Job Summary
Sales Director for the TOLA region (Houston, Dallas, or Austin, TX) at Cloudflare, responsible for driving regional revenue growth, go-to-market strategy, and enterprise-accounts leadership. Lead cross-functional programs across sales, customer success, solutions engineering, business development, support, and field marketing; serve as the local point of contact for executive relationships, partnerships, and account management; scale the Southwest enterprise team and recruit with global resources; design and execute regional strategies; optimize regional cadence with automated data pipelines to reduce manual tasks. Requires 10+ years of direct B2B enterprise selling and 5+ years of direct sales management, deep knowledge of IaaS/cloud/networking/security, experience handling long, complex enterprise sales cycles, and ability to learn technical concepts and leverage AI-driven workflows. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with comfort in a fast-paced tech environment. Nice-to-have skills include technical background in engineering/MIS and experience presenting at external conferences or PR events.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of direct B2B selling experience, specifically selling to large enterprise / named accounts ($1B+ annual revenue)
- 5+ years of direct sales management experience leading an enterprise field sales team
- Thorough and deep understanding and knowledge of IaaS, cloud technologies, computer networking, and/or security products or services
- Extensive experience managing longer, complex enterprise sales cycles alongside cross-functional technical teams
- Strong aptitude for learning technical concepts and terminology, including familiarity with modern automated workflows, AI-driven pipelines, or data-informed decision-making tools
- Proven experience selling into $1B+ Financial Services, Retail, Industrial, Energy, Media, and other major sectors
- Strong leadership, presentation, interpersonal communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills, with a comfort level working in a fast-paced, dynamically evolving technological environment
