Job Summary
Lead North America hourly field teams executing major component upgrades, corrective maintenance campaigns, and blade repair activities across multiple customer sites. Provide visible frontline leadership to reinforce safe execution, work quality, and crew effectiveness while driving daily execution rigor for readiness, deployment, and completion tracking. Own safety leadership and compliance for assigned teams, including hazard identification, pre-job planning, and risk mitigation, while ensuring full adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. Manage operational performance metrics such as safety, quality, productivity, schedule attainment, and labor utilization through regular field engagement and performance reviews. Partner closely with planning, engineering, and EHS teams to remove barriers, align resources with business commitments, and implement sustainable countermeasures for systemic issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 7 years in wind services, field operations, maintenance, or a related industrial service environment
- Ability and willingness to travel 50%+ within North America, with flexibility required for outage schedules, remote site support, and emergent operational needs
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field
- Experience leading large-scale wind service campaigns or major corrective field operations
- Demonstrated experience leading teams performing major component exchange, upgrades, large corrective maintenance, retrofit campaigns, or blade repair work
- Ability to work in demanding field conditions, including climbing turbines and supporting field execution as needed
- Prior people leadership experience with responsibility for team performance, coaching, and employee development
- Working knowledge of EHS systems, field risk management, and safe work practices in an industrial environment
- Ability to lead in a field-based, multi-site operating environment with changing priorities
- Technical knowledge of major wind turbine components and related replacement or upgrade processes
- Experience with blade repair operations and quality oversight
- Familiarity with outage planning, workforce scheduling, and field resource deployment
- Lean, continuous improvement, or standard work deployment experience
- Experience using field service, maintenance management, or operational reporting systems
- Military leadership experience or equivalent technical field leadership background
