Job Summary
Lead a 10-session, after-school nail technology course for middle/high school students, delivering engaging, hands-on instruction on fundamentals of nail care, design, hygiene, and professional grooming within a school setting. Plan and facilitate interactive activities, uphold strict sanitation and safety standards, adapt pacing to student readiness, communicate professionally with site staff, and guide students toward a culminating artifact that documents learning and skill development. Requires at least 60 college credits (or an Associate degree in progress/completed) and knowledge in nail technology or cosmetology, with strong facilitation and classroom presence to support a safe, respectful learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 60 college credits (or Associate degree in progress/completed)
- Relevant content knowledge in nail technology, cosmetology, or related professional practice
- Interest and/or experience working with school-age students in structured learning environments
- Strong facilitation, communication, and classroom presence
- Reliable, punctual, and professional; able to follow school policies and program boundaries
