Job Summary
Provide professional nail and skin care services to salon clientele while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Acknowledge clients promptly, build a client base by recruiting new customers, and maintain customer cards. Deliver quality technical skills, prescribe appropriate retail products, and respond professionally to service issues. Participate in ongoing education regarding products, services, and industry trends. Maintain a clean work area, perform housekeeping duties, and adhere to state board regulations and salon dress codes. Report to the Salon Manager regarding issues and needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must possess a valid and current board certified license
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred
- Passion for the beauty industry
