Job Summary
Provide salon clientele with professional services relating to the care and treatment of nails and skin, including manicures, pedicures, and gel/Shellac services. Meet or exceed personal service and retail sales goals while building a client base through recruiting new requests and maintaining customer cards. Acknowledge clients promptly, respond to service issues, and address complaints professionally. Ensure personal work areas and the salon meet State Board Regulations, perform basic housekeeping duties, and organize time to meet sales targets. Possess a valid and current board-certified license with two to five years of experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must possess a valid and current board certified license
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail

- Providing quality professional service through technical skills and prescribing appropriate retail products to clients
- Responding professionally to customer service issues and promptly addressing complaints
- Ensuring personal work area and salon meet and exceed State Board Regulations
- Performing basic salon housekeeping duties of cleaning, stocking, and client cards
- Effectively organizing time and resources to meet sales goals
- Communication with Salon Management regarding issues and needs
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
