Job Summary
Provide professional nail and skin care services to salon clientele, including manicures, pedicures, and gel/Shellac treatments. Build a client base by recruiting new customers and maintaining client cards while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Respond professionally to customer service issues and address complaints promptly. Complete ongoing continuing education on products, services, and current industry issues through in-house and external classes. Ensure personal work areas and the salon meet and exceed State Board Regulations by performing cleaning, stocking, and basic housekeeping duties. Maintain an updated professional appearance and adhere to salon dress codes. Communicate with Salon Management regarding issues and needs while effectively organizing time and resources to meet sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must possess a valid and current board certified license
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
- Ongoing continuing education on products, services, and current issues relating to the industry
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred
