Job Summary
Provide professional nail and skin care services to salon clientele while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Acknowledge clients promptly, build a client base by recruiting new customers and maintaining client cards, and prescribe appropriate retail products. Respond professionally to customer service issues and complaints while exhibiting strong communication skills. Maintain personal work areas and the salon to exceed State Board Regulations, perform basic housekeeping duties, and organize time and resources to meet sales targets. Participate in ongoing education regarding products, services, and industry issues. Ensure compliance with salon guidelines for attendance and dress code.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred
