Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care, perform patient assessments, provide patient education, and manage triage. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications, including obtaining Certified Foot Care Specialist certification within 60-90 days of hire. Work full-time, 36 hours weekly, with a half-day off on Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications
- Certified Foot Care Specialist certification required 60-90 days from hire
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
