Job Summary
Perform maintenance on engines and aircraft components including periodic service checks, line maintenance, servicing, and dispatch. Execute assigned duties using Company and manufacturers' manuals, service bulletins, policies, and FAA regulations. Advise the Lead Technician or Inspector when inspection is required before task completion and sign for all work accomplished. Interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions while communicating effectively within the Maintenance Department. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality while adhering to all safety policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Must have an FAA A&P License
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and maintain qualifications in accordance with DOT/FAA regulations
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively within the Maintenance Department and with other team members as needed
- Manual dexterity is required for input into or manipulation of spreadsheets, composing composition and reports, etc.
- The employee will need to see (including close vision), speak and hear
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, and pulling up to 100 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- an associates or bachelor's degree
- Experience with 737-300 and / or 400 aircraft
