Job Summary

Lead the Aircraft Maintenance Technicians on all maintenance, scheduled, and unscheduled work for Company Aircraft. When an Aircraft enters "AOG" Status, open an AireXpert narrative, communicate the discrepancy to NAC Flight Followers, and monitor status updates for return-to-service timelines. Control MEL usage, expedite parts, and audit work packages, inspection forms, and TRAX records for accuracy before aircraft release. Coordinate deicing and anti-icing procedures, assign personnel based on qualifications, and ensure apprentice technicians receive proper on-the-job training. Identify safety hazards through reporting systems and manage manpower scheduling to meet operational demands. Assume temporary Maintenance Manager responsibilities when delegated.

Required Qualifications

  • FAA Technician Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
  • 2 years of experience on the type of aircraft for which they are supervising maintenance
  • knowledgeable of and have extensive experience in repair and troubleshooting of Company maintained aircraft
  • ability to supervise personnel and maintain adequate production levels
  • qualified to run/taxi type of aircraft on which they are supervising
  • Experience returning aircraft to service within one year of achieving position
  • valid driver's license and clear driving record
  • ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check and receive TSA clearance to operate in secure area
  • Willingness to Travel up to 20% for Outstation Aircraft Maintenance
