Job Summary
Greet and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document in the electronic medical record. Assist with clerical duties including processing mail, scanning, answering phones, and updating forms. Support providers with administrative tasks, patient scheduling, and follow-ups on no-shows. Perform limited patient care tasks such as chaperoning exams and administering questionnaires. Stock and clean exam rooms while maintaining clinic supplies. This role supports the Family Practice department at Essentia Health's Baxter and Brainerd clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holiday shifts
- Must be available for on-call rotations
- Must be able to work 8-hour day shifts
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday
- Must be able to work 32 hours weekly
- Must be able to work in Baxter, Minnesota
- Must be able to work in Brainerd, Minnesota
- Must be able to float to support other areas as assigned
- Must be able to perform limited patient care tasks based on training
- Must be able to complete identification verification
- Must be able to obtain vitals
