N1 PVD Equipment Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair PVD hardware and process failures for AMAT Endura/Centura in a 7x24 manufacturing facility. Perform preventive maintenance per standardized work documents, use SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection (FDC) software to evaluate tool performance, and document maintenance activities. Assist in improving standardized work documents for maintenance tasks, manage spare parts inventory, and collaborate with Equipment Engineers on upgrades and long down troubleshooting. Coordinate downtime with Manufacturing Leads; work with process technicians on wafer recoveries and post-maintenance qualification tasks. Demonstrate strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills; thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) in an engineering or science discipline
- Minimum of 5 years semiconductor manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 7 years of NXP (or affiliate) experience may qualify in lieu of degree
- Working knowledge/experience with PVD Processes and toolsets
- Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Must be able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams
- Must be physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask with minimal supervision while adjusting to changing priorities
- Analytical problem solving and testing skills
