N/S Neck Dept Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervises day-to-day production activities to meet schedules, output targets, and quality standards. Assigns tasks, monitors workflow, and adjusts staffing resources as needed. Mentors staff, enforces policies, and evaluates employee performance for personnel matters. Oversees training of new employees and ensures all staff maintain required certifications. Conducts shift meetings, resolves operational or personnel issues, and performs product inspections and documentation reviews. Addresses non-conformities, implements corrective actions, and ensures adherence to quality control standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Promotes a culture of safety, supports preventive maintenance, and participates in continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience overseeing production employees
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Certified to operate all machinery within the department
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in musical instruments, woodworking, or precision assembly operations
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience overseeing production employees
