Teletherapist will provide therapy through a HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform in standard 45-60 minute sessions. The average caseload for full-time Therapists will be approximately 30 client sessions per week, with part-time options available to maintain at least 7 sessions per week. The role supports building a private practice by handling credentialing with insurance carriers, billing, a teletherapy platform integrated with an EHR, marketing, and scheduling, enabling therapists to work from home or a VA-based home/office. Responsibilities include providing virtual therapy, completing assessments, creating treatment plans, documenting progress notes, and contributing ideas on strategies and services to optimize client outcomes. Requirements include Virginia licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LCP (with eligibility for credentialing on major insurance panels), experience with diverse populations, flexibility to grow caseload, reliable high-speed internet, a HIPAA-secure remote space, and comfort with telehealth.
