Job Summary
Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions while delivering crisis management interventions and clinical oversight for youth with serious emotional disturbances. Complete admission evaluations, programmatic assessments, and case documentation within designated timeframes, then coordinate Individual Service Plans with Wraparound Facilitators and families. Provide around-the-clock on-call support, including home-based medication monitoring and necessary transportation, while collaborating with staff psychiatrists and community stakeholders. Carry out quality assurance audits, prepare compliance reports, and develop discharge/aftercare plans from admission through exit. Requires a Master's degree, current mental health license, and physical ability to assist in therapeutic holds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current mental health Certification (PCMHT or CMHT) and/or license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTA) within 30 days of employment.
- Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related behavioral health field.
- At least two (2) years clinical experience working with children and youth with serious emotional disturbances and families with complex needs in a similar or more restrictive placement environment.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Mississippi driver license.
- Good driving record.
- Proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance.
- Willingness to use personal vehicle for organization business.
- Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies and physically assist or support youth and/or staff.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
