Job Summary
IB MYP Mathematics teacher needed to deliver concept-driven math instruction aligned with the IB MYP framework. Responsibilities include planning and delivering high-quality lessons, creating an inclusive learning environment, developing and assessing assignments and projects, differentiating instruction, fostering inquiry-based learning, integrating educational technology, maintaining records, collaborating with staff, and participating in parent-teacher meetings and professional development.Required skills include strong knowledge of mathematics concepts, classroom management, clear communication, organizational abilities, and the ability to explain complex ideas simply. Preferred: IB MYP experience, inquiry/project-based learning familiarity, and use of digital learning tools. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or Education and teaching certification; 1–14 years of experience in middle/secondary math teaching, with IB MYP experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification or relevant educational qualification preferred
- Experience ranging from 1 to 14 years in teaching Mathematics at middle or secondary school levels
- Experience in IB MYP schools will be an added advantage
