Job Summary
Lead the Day Habilitation program operations: facilitate calendar planning meetings, use person-centered planning to drive activities, supervise daily activities, arrange and provide transportation for My Day activities, promote community integration, contribute to individual service objectives and teaching procedures, ensure compliant daily documentation for Medicaid waiver programs, provide input for annual performance measurements, and assist clients with grooming, hygiene, mealtime, and related supports. Requires high school diploma, two years of experience with developmental disabilities, skills in behavior management and computing, knowledge of assistive technology, a valid Class C driver’s license, insurance, and background checks. This role emphasizes safety, staff support, and program quality within a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 am–4:00 pm) with hourly pay in a benefits-rich environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Two years' experience in working with people with developmental disabilities
- Skill in Behavior Management
- Skills in computer use and word processing
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Valid Class C driver’s license required
- Proof of state minimum insurance coverage
- Clearance from all applicable background checks as required by service standards
