Job Summary
Manufacturing Associate role at the Muskegon site supporting production operations related to turbine airfoil products. Responsibilities include performing repetitive and non-repetitive production tasks, maintaining and operating manufacturing machinery per procedures and work instructions, practicing safe work habits, and collaborating in a team-oriented environment. Requires reading technical instructions, lifting up to 20 pounds, potential exposure to hazardous materials, overtime as needed, basic arithmetic, and proficiency with PC-based document navigation. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with respective hours; prior experience in manufacturing or similar environments is preferred and GE Aerospace emphasizes compliance with safety, quality, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written work instructions which may be technical in nature
- Ability to lift/move material up to 20 pounds
- May be required to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions
- 3 to 5 Years of industry or similarly related job experience
- Prior experience working in a team-oriented environment
