Job Summary
Provide music therapy per plan of care, assessing patients and determining effectiveness while implementing interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort. Use techniques such as relaxation, lyric analysis, songwriting, and life review, documenting sessions promptly. Educate the team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives. This role supports St. Croix Hospice's mission to guide patients and families through the end-of-life journey with dignity and comfort.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Music from an accredited school
- Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test
