Job Summary
Music Therapist – Early Intervention Service Coordinator providing EI screening, evaluation, and assessment; direct child developmental and family support and case management; participate in IFSP development and ongoing execution; collaborate with families and the EI team to identify concerns, priorities and resources; provide education, advocacy, and support on child and parenting issues and community resources; refer for discrete/specialized therapies and coordinate intervention services with medical, state, and health providers; assist in developing transition plans for child and family; positions include home, program, or community settings; required Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, Board Certification in Music Therapy, and EI certification with DPH; Spanish bilingual a plus; driver’s license and own vehicle required for off-site services. Located in East Boston, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy
- Board Certification in Music Therapy
- Driver's license and access to reliable vehicle
- Either be or become Early Intervention certified with DPH
