Job Summary
As a Music Therapist - Service Coordinator, join a multi-disciplinary Early Intervention team providing developmentally supportive music-therapy-based services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or risk factors. Responsibilities include EI screening/intake, evaluation and assessment; direct child development and family support/case management; participation in IFSP development and ongoing execution; collaboration with families and the EI team to identify priorities and resources; education, advocacy, and support on child and parenting issues; referrals for specialized therapies and coordination of intervention services with medical/state providers; and assisting in developing a transition plan for child and family. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy (Master’s preferred), Board Certification in Music Therapy, and EI certification with DPH or eligibility; driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for off-site services; Spanish bilingual a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy
- Board Certification in Music Therapy
- Experience in Infancy/Early Childhood and Special Education preferred
- Early Intervention certification with DPH preferred or required
- Driver’s license and vehicle needed for off-site services
