Job Summary
Instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times while planning programs that meet individual student needs and abilities. Create conducive learning environments, guide instruction toward district curriculum goals, and establish clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. Prepare for classes with written evidence of readiness, employ varied instructional techniques, and diagnose learning challenges by seeking specialist assistance when required. Assess student accomplishments regularly, provide progress reports, communicate with parents, and maintain accurate records per legal and administrative regulations. Implement district educational philosophy, enforce fair classroom behavior rules, supervise paraprofessionals, and participate in evaluation processes and staff meetings. Engage in professional growth activities and attend school-sponsored activities as outlined in the contract.
Required Qualifications

- Highly qualified with required competency in the content area
- Appropriate content/ program area educator license (Music: Vocal/Instrumental/General) and grade level (All) licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Bachelor's Degree with appropriate license

- Master's Degree with appropriate content area license preferred and/or expected within 5 years
