Music Teacher (Part Time, After School, In-Person)

Music Teacher to deliver a 10-session after-school enrichment course focused on foundational musicianship, including rhythm, melody, tempo, dynamics, and basic notation. Responsibilities include differentiating instruction, establishing routines for materials and transitions, maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment, communicating with site staff about attendance and session completion, adapting pacing to student readiness, and supporting a culminating performance or demonstration. Requirements include a minimum of 60 college credits (or an associate degree in progress/completed), demonstrated musicianship, experience working with school-age students, strong facilitation and communication skills, reliability, and professionalism; ability to lead group music-making activities and handle instruments safely. This role is on-site at partner schools and varies by assignment, with a typical 1-hour session per week over a 10-week cycle.
