Teach developmentally appropriate music instruction aligned with the NC Standard Course of Study; guide student growth in rhythm, melody, harmony, notation, and music literacy; organize performances and integrate technology into lessons; assess progress and maintain records; foster a positive, collaborative classroom culture and work with families and staff to support student success; require strong classroom management, communication, and leadership for elementary to middle school music programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field required
- Valid North Carolina teaching license in Music Education preferred or ability to obtain licensure
