Job Summary
Plan differentiated learning activities using District curriculum maps to address individual student needs. Establish a collaborative classroom climate by managing student behavior and maintaining accurate records of assignments and progress. Communicate regularly with families regarding the instructional program and individual student engagement. Participate in professional learning communities to enhance content knowledge, modify instruction, and support school improvement initiatives. Engage in continuous professional growth through required in-service and research. Maintain ethical conduct and integrity while reflecting on teaching practices to inform future instruction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Eligible for Certification by the State of Florida or District vocational certification
- Basic understanding and knowledge of use of current technology, as required for the position
- Ability to push, pull or lift up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
