Job Summary
Conduct daily music instruction by setting class goals, designing data-driven assessments, and delivering lessons that foster creativity, critical listening, and ensemble collaboration. Differentiate instruction to address diverse student needs while preparing learners for performances, recitals, and school-wide events. Implement school-wide culture policies to maintain a disciplined, supportive environment that encourages student self-efficacy and creative risk-taking. Maintain instruments and equipment to ensure a safe learning space. Build trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues by incorporating their backgrounds into instruction and communicating proactively through various channels. Collaborate with grade-level teams, interventionists, and the Principal to foster a culture of excellence and realize the school's mission. Engage in professional development, attend extended training sessions, and model professionalism in behavior and attire.
