Job Summary
K-6th Grade Music Teacher responsible for preparing and facilitating subject-specific lesson plans, implementing the BASIS Curriculum to design effective and creative lessons and assessments, collaborating with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum, tutoring students to heighten academic trajectory, managing student behavior to foster achievement and respect, and supporting non-instructional functions such as Early Bird/Late Bird and lunch. BASIS Ed emphasizes a collaborative, standards-aligned teaching environment with a focus on international competitiveness of student education and ongoing professional engagement. The role includes maintaining regular attendance, supervising students, and contributing to BASIS’s mission of autonomous, high-quality education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
