Job Summary
Music Teacher for K-6 at Distinctive Schools. Responsible for planning and delivering music instruction aligned to grade-level standards with a student-centered approach. Create curriculum backwards planned from college enrollment timelines, design and implement assessments, use data to refine instructional practices, and maintain accurate records. Engage families and collaborate with colleagues to support students’ college readiness, including facilitating college visits and supporting financial aid discussions. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and an Illinois Professional Educator License with an Arts Endorsement. Regular full-time position starting August 2026 with starting salary around $70,000.
