Job Summary
Introduce music techniques, scales, sight-reading, note reading, rhythm, metronome practice, and ensemble performance while teaching music theory, composition, and performance techniques. Prepare students for auditions, live performances, recitals, college applications, and a life filled with music. Provide instruction in a positive, happy environment with all musical instruments and teaching supplies provided. Work 18-30 hours per week in 6-hour shifts during Monday through Saturday hours.
Required Qualifications
- Love of children and passion for singing
- College-level musical education
- Ability to pass a background check
- Basic understanding of Primer-level piano
