Music Teacher (Grades K-12) responsible for planning, organizing, and presenting instruction and instructional environments that support students’ cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development; differentiate instruction for diverse learners; plan, coordinate, and continuously improve instruction; analyze situations and use data to make decisions; utilize technology and classroom tools; manage instructional time and student behavior; motivate students; consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and the community to enhance learning; monitor student performance; interact within the educational environment; coordinate and direct the activities of a Teacher Assistant if applicable; perform other related tasks; requires NC teaching licensure and a bachelor’s degree; knowledge of the North Carolina Standard Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards; position associated with 10-month term and NC salary considerations; location is Kinston, NC.
